“The Turkish Progress Report – Insights from Istanbul and Brussels”

Tuesday, 24 November

Venue: Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung for Freedom, Avenue de Cortenbergh 71, 1000 Brussels

About the event

Working with Turkey has become more crucial than ever for the EU to stem the flows of migrants heading towards Europe. At the same time, there are strong critiques underlining the slowdown in Turkey’s reform process and backslide in freedom of expresion in Turkey.

How will the recently published Progress Report affect EU-Turkey relations? Can the EU and Turkey work together to manage the current refugee crisis?

We are looking forward to discussing new perspectives on Turkey-EU relations with you.
