For ten years running the Brussels Comic Strip Festival has been the event of the year for every comic strip fan, and of course, we had to participate with our Animate Europe comics! As in previous years, we exhibited our original drawings from the competition at a stand in the international pavilion.
Jubel is the first European democracy festival in the heart of Europe. From 6th-8th September, we had the opportunity to show our open-air exhibition with our comics from Animate Europe 2017 and 2019 at the festival.
From the end of June to 7th July, the Animate Europe comics and animations were exhibited at our office in Lübeck, Germany.

From May to the end of June, we exhibited our Animate Europe original comics at the Goethe Institute in Lyon. Additionally, all of the animations were shown as well. During the time, about 750 people visited the exhibition!
On 9th May, we celebrated Europe Day in Potsdam, and with it all the great things that the EU member countries have achieved by overcoming their differences and becoming not only an economic union but one for its citizens.
Our programme coordinator Charlot Uhrig is currently attending the Fête de l‘Europe in Paris with Ambassade d’Allemagne à Paris.

Throughout September, our Animate Europe exhibition stayed at the CIDAL Paris. On 19th and 20th September, we had an official opening at the CIDAL and our Animate Europe winner, Magdalena Kaszuba, held a workshop with students from Chantilly.
